Tonight: Franz Ferdinand aumenta la presencia de los teclados convirtiendo varias composiciones en piezas electrónicas. Sin embargo, las canciones siguen la misma tónica de siempre; continúan las guitarras y las melodías pegadizas que les caracterizan. Y aunque se escucha, no tiene la pegada de sus predecesores.
